PLC Operation and Troubleshooting (Your Location Only)
PLC Ops and Troubleshooting is a class designed to teach all of the basic concepts of what a PLC is, how it works, and how to diagnose problems. Schematic reading is emphasized, and the customer MUST provide both a representative machine or system (asphalt plant) AND the full schematic for the system(s). Additionally, having the ladder logic is also a plus because it allows for a deeper and more meaningful discussion and explanations of how the system works.
Target Audience
Novice to master technicians who work on PLC operated systems.
What You Need To Bring - This is a customer-location class only
Students should bring their digital multimeters and PLC schematics of the trucks, equipment or other systems they work on. Ladder logic and a functioning machine or system is also required.
